During this Lunch and Learn Session, speaker Del Schwalls, PE, CFM, will review the changes between the current Elevation Certificate and the previous 2019 version of the form and instructions. This will include changes in the overall requirements, as well as new requirements for CRS communities. In addition, Del will review the status and development of the Elevation Certificate Guidebook, a joint project between the Georgia Association of Floodplain Management and the ASFPM Foundation. The EC Guidebook will be an online resource for both those completing the ECs, as well as communities reviewing them for compliance, focusing especially on building diagram selection.
