GAFM is excited to announce a one-day modeling workshop to be held November 6th, 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with fellow floodplain managers on modeling techniques and earn continuing education credits. This workshop has been pre-approved for 6 hours of Continuing Education Credits by ASFPM.

Space is limited to 30 people, so mark your calendars! Registration will close on October 17 or once capacity has been met, whichever comes first!

The workshop will be limited to in-person attendance only and will be hosted out of Dewberry's Atlanta office at 2951 Flowers Road South, Suite 102, Atlanta GA 30341. There is ample parking available behind the building. 

Attendance is $75 for GAFM Members and $150 for Non-GAFM Members. Lunch will be provided (please note any special dietary restrictions in your registration form). 

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ATTENDEES: 

To participate in the afternoon HEC-RAS training, users are required to bring the following: 

• Laptop with HEC-RAS Version 6.6.0 installed. (Note: Multiple versions of HEC-RAS can be installed if you have an existing version already.)
• 5-Gigabyte of Storage Availability on Laptop. (Note: Unfortunately, 2D modeling input/output files can be large.)
• The ability to Save and Edit Files Stored Locally on your Laptop
• Participants are strongly encouraged to bring a Mouse
